Giggling Gibbs Refuses To Answer Question On Fox News

It’s a rare moment when you see someone representing the President give such a pathetic and obnoxious interview.

Gibbs, the White House spokesperson, is being interviewed by Gretchen Carlson on Fox News concerning Obama’s flip flopping on the war surge.  When Carlson asks a question about the flip-flopping, Gibbs giggles and calls it, “playing political games.”

Concerning Obama’s phone call to President Bush before the speech, Carlson asks (clearly for the first time), “Will President Obama credit President Bush tonight in his speech for his success in Iraq?”  Gibbs tries to dodge it and says, “Again, Gretchen, I think you’ve asked me this question twice and I’ve given you an answer.” (giggle, giggle)  Gretchen says, “No, this is the first time I’ve asked you the question.  Will President Obama thank President Bush in his speech for the success of the surge?”  Gibbs..giggle, giggle, “Now, that’s three times you’ve asked me the question…”  This continues 6 more times, to which Gibbs refuses to answer and then tries to turn the table and interview her, asking if SHE supports the President pulling troops out today.  She doesn’t let him up saying, “This isn’t an interview of Gretchen Carlsen.  This is an interview with the spokesperson of President Obama on one of the most important issues facing the American public today!” It continues and just gets better.
