Crowd Defies ACORN Moderator And Says Pledge of Allegiance Anyways!

At a debate in Illinois between Melissa Bean (D) and Joe Walsh (R), the opening statements by the moderator, Kathy Tate-Bradish (Illinois League of Women Voters, an ACORN activists and Obama supporter), was interrupted by a question from the audience. One man asked, “Are we going to say the Pledge of Allegiance?”  Bradish responds, “No we are not.  That’s not part of the proposal tonight.”  The crowd erupts in boos and she says, “Excuse me, excuse me!  I have nothing for, or against, saying the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of something like this but, in fact, that has never been apart of …..”  The crowd cuts her off, jumps to their feet and begins reciting the Pledge of Allegiance without her– they are immediately joined by the Republican candidate Joe Walsh.

What a proud moment this one is and it will stir the blood, both in indignation at the moderator’s lack of respect towards our Pledge of Allegiance and pride at the response and reaction from that of the patriotic crowd!
