I think most of us will agree that Barack Obama must be a one term president. However, because Americans tend to be shortsighted, celebrity obsessed, and sadly electorally unenlightened, it’s going to take a radical Conservative grassroots effort to make that happen. Many of us look around at the destruction that has occurred to this incredible country and we dangerously believe that there is no way that he could get re-elected. That’s both a naive and troubling assumption. Despite the fact that while we know gas prices were $1.83 when Obama was elected and now they are hovering around $5 a gallon and unemployment is between 9-10%, others can’t see past the fact that Mark Zuckerburg is an Obama fan.
There is a struggle right now within our country between good and evil. Tyranny is being forced down our throats everywhere we turn. The Powers That Be want to control your every decision, from how much toilet paper we can use, to what our thermostat has to be set at, to what light bulb we use, what cars we are allowed to drive, how much salt we are allowed to consume, all the way to who determines our health care needs and the value of each of our individual lives! We are being taxed and regulated to death and freedom dies a little bit each time the President and Congress shows up to work.
Getting involved is vital to the election victory of 2012. Incredible political movements all over the world always begin at the grassroots. They are born and delivered directly by the people and start off as a small flame that contagiously grow to out of control wild fires in the hearts of the people.
One such movement that I recently stumbled upon I found both amusing and potentially impactful right at the grassroots level, especially if the participation across the country is high. The “Sticky Note Campaign” is off the ground and gaining traction. It looks to be primarily started in Georgia, but seems to be catching on nationally and you can join that campaign directly on Facebook.
Purchase a pad of large sticky notes. Write on each one, “How’s that Hope & Change working out for you?” Every time you stop to fill your vehicle with gas, place your sticky note somewhere on the pump before you drive away. DO NOT be destructive in ANY way! Place your sticky note somewhere, so as not to impede the next customer’s ability to read the pump’s digital readout.
After placing your sticky note, please consider taki…ng a digital picture, then uploading it to our wall. Please tell us in which city and state the picture was taken. This is meant to be a “quiet” protest by our silent majority of Americans, to be served upon this administration!! Thank you all for your support!

What a simple campaign that if it catches on can create quite a crescendo of voices nationwide. Even your children can get involved and feel apart of activism in a positive and peaceful way. It’s time to confront America in the places where they feel personally affected and perhaps it will jolt some into a thought provoking state that can make a difference come 2012.
