There is a new movement catching on in response to the Occupy Wall Street Protestors.  The stark difference between the two groups are blatant.  One consists of a group of dirty, unwashed, petulant people- who feel entitled to something simply…well, simply just because.  They are engaging in lewd and disgusting public behavior, trashing our streets, inciting violence, defecating on cars and streets, using drugs, and the list goes on.

The other group is the 53%.  Those who are out each and every day doing whatever it takes to provide for their family.  Many of them are working two and three jobs and not getting much sleep at night.  They drive in simple cars, live on extremely tight budgets, pay their bills sometimes at the last minute, and don’t live beyond their means.  They are responsible Americans and they believe in the American dream- that if you work hard, it will eventually pay off.  That doesn’t mean you’ll be wealthy, but you’ll have a roof over your head, food on the table, and clothes on your back.  They don’t walk around with their hands in other people’s pockets or feel that in order for themselves to be successful someone else has to fail.

WE are the 53%… “Those of us who pay for all of those of you that whine about that…or that…or whatever…”

This is the fabric of America.  This is what makes our heart swell with pride.  This is individual responsibility in action.  You can be a whiner or a worker, but you can’t be both.

To the 53 percent people – I congratulate you for your ability to work hard and take accountability for your actions. Here is the major point that you are missing – This is our land. As American citizens we all have an obligation to hold our elected officials accountable when they are no longer representing our needs. We pay for our government, our streets, our schools, our wars and our debts. It is not enough to just get a job and pay your personal debts. You have to take responsibility for the fact that you are an American and you should know where your taxes dollars are going. Since you seemed to have missed this education, here is the reality – the wealthy people have rigged the system of taxes and laws so that it benefits only them. They take large sums of your money and spend it on things that do nothing to support you. They advocate for tax breaks and loopholes that do not support you nor your family. In the past 30 years they have been getting away with robbing the middle and lower classes because you 53 percenters think that it is ok to be apathetic. While you waste time, your taxes are increasing, wages are declining, and there is no money for roads, teachers, science, technology, research and development, health care, nor social security. In a few more years the wealthy will be asking you to pay for the next war that they will make tons of money off of, while you get even more broke. You will stand by them in the name of American patriotism, because they rigged the media too, to get you to think that if you work hard it will all be ok. There is work to be done including getting rid of corporate lobbyists, campaign reform, cutting the military spending, and asking corporations and the rich to PAY THEIR TAXES. When you are ready to do some real work, give us a call. You want to talk about responsibility – Bank of America screwed the economy up through sub prime lending, then asked for a bail out, didn’t pay any taxes in 2009, got a major tax refund, and then turned around and laid of 30,000 workers. Where the hell is BofA’s accountability? Best of luck with your ignorance, you are only further screwing yourself. My family is top 5%, and I am 100% with the 99%! Give them hell Occupy Wall Street!

These guys apparently don't understand who the 99% are and why we're angry with Wall Street. It's not about blaming Wall Street because we're in debt or live above our means. It's about being ticked off because they're running a largely unregulated casino that's ruining the economy. The "Too Big To Fail" crisis was not created by lowly individuals spending too much on their credit cards, but rather by Wall Street Fat Cats who got rich on the artificial bubble they created and were never held accountable for their actions.

And "Too Big To Fail" was indeed a real crisis – not like that manufactured "crisis" the Republicans created back in August over the debt ceiling. We're pissed off because, among other things, the government has done damn little to reinstate appropriate regulations to prevent a "Too Big To Fail" crisis from happening again. Reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 would be a good first step. For too long it seemed as if no one in power was paying attention. Maybe they'll pay attention now.

eric – Most of your group don’t even know why the are at this demonstration. They’re there for the drugs and it beats working for a living. The cops should give you a time to be gone and if you stay bust heads and throw you all behind bars. The real problem is O’Bama and his class warfare strategy that failed for Stalin & Mussolini (and we all know what happened to them and their supporters). O’bama and the Democrats are using you as Pawns. Your group is O’Bama’s “boys” and O’Bama is the Democrats “boy”. You are being used to promote an O’Bama led Socialist Agenda.

The Wall Street inspired protesters are nothing but a bunch of “deadbeats”. They run the gamut of “rich trust-fund brats” who have nothing better to do and rappers who show up with jewelry that cost more then most make in a year to those that make a living off the tax payer (the welfare crowd). There are jobs out there if they would get off their backsides and apply themselves. Like O’Bama, it’s so much easier to blame others for your self-created problems then to look in the mirror at the real cause. These people should pay the bill for clean up and security for their event right after they pay their bail. They should be arrested and put behind bars so working people can support themselves and their families.

Funny, if Bush was our President now, the blame would be on him. But, now instead of including in the blame, Obama's lack of job creation and continued bail-out programs, it is only the fault of Wall Street individuals. I didn't know the the stock brokers working on wall street were supposed to be in charge of finding jobs for the less fortunate. Oh, but actually, if they just divide their income with those that don't have a job then all would be fine. Everyone that has gone to college, taken out loans, re-located, sacrificed and scrimped to work their way up should not feel guilty and want to share their own EARNED paychecks to make it all equal. Life isn't equal or fair and dividing wealth won't make more of it.

So, take it to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue– the address responsible for all of the job killing regulation that is taking place to create this economic disaster. Since when is it the job of "Wall Street" to provide jobs?

    wow…..demonize much?

oh, by the way — your astroturf is showing: '“We are the 53 percent” was originally the brainchild of Erick Erickson, founder of RedState.org, who worked together with Josh Trevino, communications director for the right-leaning Texas Public Policy Foundation, and conservative filmmaker Mike Wilson to develop the site, according to Trevino.' http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klein/po

I.e., you're paid for by foundation money and created as an ad campaign, not an authentic movement.

Curiously, you seem to have gotten some stats confused — according to a Bloomberg* poll 53% is the percentage of Republicans who back increasting income taxes on those earning over $250K/year.

*you know, the polling org owned by that wall street billionaire who runs NYC and ordered his cops to crack down on Occupy Wall Street?
