When Obama was elected, the opportunity could not have been better for a President to reignite America’s economic engine and put us back on the path to prosperity.  It was a perfect chance to bring this great country together and unleash its full potential.  Obama could have done just that, but instead he proved to be the most divisive and inept president in modern American history.

There have been a few instances where candidate Obama has shown his true colors and this past weekend in Ohio was one of them.  During an 11th hour pitch to voters, Obama exposed a little of his disdain for those that do not agree with him with this off-the-teleprompter remark (made after the mention of Romney’s name sparked boos from the crowd):

And here’s Romney’s response:

At this point I have complete peace with whatever the results are tomorrow.  Voters can choose to keep an polarizing failure in office for four more years or they can choose a new president that offers a different path – a better path.  By now, the right choice should be very clear!

Representatives serve two-year terms and are up for election every two years, while senators serve six year terms, staggered so that one third of senators are elected in any given general election. General elections in which presidential candidates are not on the ballot are referred to as midterm elections.
