Cosmo Wants Their Women Readers To Vote Only With Lady Parts- Brains Need Not Apply

Cosmo Wants Their Women Readers To Vote Only With Lady Parts- Brains Need Not Apply Image

Cosmopolitan Editor, Joanna Coles, is making it clear that she doesn’t want women voting with anything outside of their lower extremities. In fact, she is so certain that her female readers don’t even have the capacity to think for themselves that she is making certain with their new political guidelines that will be highlighted each month, her readers only be shown one side to the issues…you know, so they don’t get confused by any of the facts.

The Cosmo endorsement criteria fall squarely into the liberal camp — equal pay, pro-choice, pro-birth control coverage, anti-restrictive voter-ID laws. Asked how a candidate who might line up on certain issues like equal pay but is pro-life would fare, Odell said that would be a deal breaker…

Coles said the endorsements will focus on candidates in swing states or candidates who are strongly in favor of issues like contraception coverage or gun control.

“We’re looking very carefully at candidates who we feel will be in seats that are swing seats or we feel very strongly about the issues they stand for,” Coles said. “Access to health care and access to contraception or abortion if, god forbid, you need one, and equal pay for equal work. And there may be some gun control issues, which is also something we believe in, responsibility for gun owners. If there are candidates who are in favor of 9-year-old girls shooting Uzis at a theme park — we are not in favor of those candidates.”

Now, I guess you could already say that a woman who is making her voting decisions based upon what an editor in Cosmo is recommending than it’s already safe to assume that she isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.  But, in this celebrity obsessed culture that we live in – unless it’s highlighted on Entertainment Tonight or tweeted out by Kim Kardashian, these low-thinking women voters aren’t likely to know about it…or even care.  And, it’s these types of women who will fit squarely within the liberal camp.  Don’t confuse them with the issues…feed them birth control and stuff their purses with candied flavored condoms paid for by the taxpayers and just tell them they’re pretty.

Unfortunately, the rest of us who think with our brains see this exactly for what it is… Cosmo leading a bunch of mind-numbed female idiots into voting submission, telling them what to think, and manipulating them into pulling the voting levers using the least amount of brain cells possible.  I’m wondering if they will highlight all of the Democrat scum like Filner, Weiner, Spitzer and Democrat-Scum-In-Chief, Bill Clinton in any of their editorials?  I also wonder how hard they will work at making sure that their small minded readers don’t find out that the most powerful woman in the Democrat Party, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, did her best to protect these leaches from any political consequences during their escapades?  But, that just won’t fit their narrative, I imagine.

I will agree that these editors and writers at Cosmo will have their work cut out for them.  In their effort to convince women to vote Democrat they are going to have to somehow hide the fact that more women have lost more jobs under the Obama Administration than any other presidential administration in history.  More women than ever before are having to go back to work to be the breadwinner in the family, they are on food stamps for the first time in their lives, they are having to choose whether to put gas in their cars or buy diapers for their babies.  These issues are going to have be ignored in such an obvious and monumental effort to continue to convince these particular women that none of that matters.  Although, suffice it to say, most of those women don’t have the extra $5 in their pocket to buy the latest Cosmo magazine- many others are working two and three jobs and won’t have the luxury of getting to actually sit down and read it online.  They should know this since their readership has plunged by over 24%.

Furthermore, I guess if you are Joni Ernst, a woman with a chance to break the glass ceiling for all women in Iowa– on the cusp of possibly becoming the first woman in Iowa to win a statewide seat and simultaneously be the only sitting female combat veteran in the United State Senate, Cosmopolitan (a magazine supposedly devoted to women and their success) will not have a place for you at their table because you value life and that wouldn’t be in your readers “best interests,” as they put it.

Liberal arrogance always suggest that one is incapable of free thought.  And it’s because it lives in fear that thinking for oneself will result in an outcome that is unfavorable to them.  Cosmo clearly doesn’t support a woman’s “right to choose.”  If so, they should feel confident in proudly giving a woman ALL of her choices- not just the one that boosts the bottom line at Planned Parenthood.

But, we already know that liberalism cannot survive in a fair dialogue and battle of the wits. Therefore, their only intent and purpose in a situation like this is to simply destroy and eliminate the other point of view and turn women into victims incapable of thinking for themselves and taking care of themselves.  They do this with every demographic…from gender, to race, to class warfare.  Without victims Democrats simply have no voting base.

Those at Cosmo and their tiny thinkers should seriously just stick to lipsticks, vibrators, and sexual positions.  Big words like “Constitution, freedom, and liberty for all” can be so confusing.  Political thought should be left to the big girls and we know that even picking up the magazine causes one’s IQ to drop.
