Brittany Pounders

My name is Brittany Pounders.   I am a Houston native and a Texas girl through and through!  I am also an ardent Constitutional Conservative, a passionate Believer in Christ and a capitalist entrepreneur!  For the last ten years I’ve been working diligently juggling all of those hats while aspiring to be the best wife and mother to the two finest little people I know.   When I’m not writing or reading up on current events, I can usually be found shuttling those two little people around town to their sporting activities, or outside watching them play, learning to ride without their training wheels and overall ”livin’ the dream!”

Since the ripe old age of twenty (and in between diapers, naps and school trips), I have built several successful businesses from the ground up through different forms of networking that have financially blessed my family.  I’ve spent countless hours speaking and training throughout  the country, meeting people from all walks of life who have impacted me in dramatic ways.  I have come to understand that the American free market system is the envy of the world and a never-ending goldmine of opportunities- especially when government is restrained from interfering with those free market principles.

I grew up in a home with parents who purposefully and diligently instilled in all of their children a love for God, for family and a deeply abiding respect and honor for our Country, our Constitution and our Founding Fathers.  Those principles bloomed in me over time and as a result I’ve never wanted to be the person who sits around and complains about the “system” yet fails to do their part as a constituent.  In the last few years I’ve had a burning conviction to put thought to action and to get involved in as many ways possible, initially in my own community.  I’ve been an active proponent for The Conservative Movement in Fort Bend County and the State of Texas and have been very involved in local politics, local and presidential campaigns, elections, conventions and Town Hall Meetings.  Recently, I was nominated as a Delegate to my Senatorial Convention and there became nominated as a Delegate to the Texas State Convention.

I love my Country and have a heartfelt reverence and appreciation for the great sacrifices that have been made since the inception of this incredible Nation.  I believe that each of us have a responsibility and an obligation to do our part to strengthen the bonds of Freedom and Liberty that have made this the greatest country in the world and to fight in our own ways against the enemies, within and without, who continue to do all that is within their power to destroy it.
