Chris Bounds

My name is Chris Bounds.  I am a strong Christian, American patriot, and a proud capitalist.

I was born and raised in the great State of Texas.  I obtained a B.A. in Technology Management and a minor in Business at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  While attending Texas A&M, I had the privilege of being a part of the Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’  Texas Aggie Band.  Despite such a busy schedule I started my first business at the age of 20, a real estate investment company.  It was during that time when I became increasingly interested in current events and politics.

Like most Americans, my frustrations with our government was limited to complaining to friends or shouting at the television.   However, the last few years have been a huge awakening for me.  I have realized what a dire situation America is in and understood that I can either sit by and watch self-serving politicians destroy America as we know it, or I can stand up and do something.  As a result, I have become more involved in political issues by volunteering for local, state and Presidential political campaigns and helping organize events for Houston Tea Party Society.  Recently, I won a contested race for Republican Precinct Chair in Fort Bend County.  Although I am a member of the Republican party, I am an American first.  I firmly believe in the U.S. Constitution and the principles this great nation was founded on such as a limited federal government, state sovereignty, and individual liberty.

I currently reside in Houston, TX with my wonderful wife.  When I am not at the office, I am busy working on side projects, exercising and spending time with family & friends.  I also enjoy hiking, rock climbing and exercising my 2nd Amendment rights.
